Sexism show

I think that in most tv shows, or series on TV exist sexism. I dont see so many series so i talk again about “Los 80”. I get it that this tv serie wants to show a reality about the 80’ decade and that at that time the sexism, gender violence and intrafamily violence it was normalized.

But for example, in a scene, Juan Herrera hit Ana after several problems, then talk with her friend, Exequiel, and tells that its only the first time, but things like that they dont have tolerated never.

Other scene that show the sexism is when Ana want work, but Juan gets angry because in his opinion she have take care the children, and not work because that is this job. This creates a conflict in the house and Juan cant allow this.

Finally, in my opinion, “Los 80”, is one of my favourite series, because show a lot of things that bring me closer to this time, but exist scenes when the gender violence is explicit and maybe it normalizes and romantic.
